Kerrie & Danny’s Great John Street wedding was just about perfect. Kerrie was the epitome of elegance in her exquisite Jenny Packham Dalia gown (I gasped out loud when I saw it!) and sparkly Jimmy Choo heels; the wedding styling was beautiful – colourful, creative and full of pretty hand-made details; the sun shone and shone, the flowers were stunning and and the food was divine! (thank you!) Great John Street Hotel is one of my favourite hotels; a gorgeous boutique hotel with eclectic and stylish design, and a fabulous roof terrace, not to mention the delicious food, so I was super-excited to be photographing a wedding there again. After a moving ceremony, guests sipped champagne on the roof terrace, enjoying the sunshine and views of the Manchester skyline, before tucking into the rather splendid meal. Danny didn’t scrub up too badly either, and together with his gorgeous wife we had a lovely wander up to the little park to create some beautiful fine art portraits for the couple. As the sun went down over the city, guests danced the night away to the live band, featuring Danny’s cousin as the lead singer, and enjoyed a barbeque on the terrace. The day was permeated with wonderful sense of family – one of the things I love most about weddings – and there were some beautiful moments I will remember for a long time. It was especially lovely that baby Ava made an appearance in time to attend, at just 10 days old, and her brother Riley was a little star and great fun to photograph! Kerrie & Danny are a super couple, and I have no doubt that they will be very happy together for many years to come. Their wedding photographs are now beautifully preserved in a Queensberry album for them to treasure forever, and I feel so honoured to have been the one they trusted to capture their day for them. Have I ever mentioned how much I love my job? 🙂

Such a stylish and beautiful wedding, don’t you agree? I am absolutely thrilled that You & Your Wedding magazine will be publishing Kerrie & Danny’s wedding as a ‘real wedding’ feature in the next few months 🙂 Of course the wedding wouldn’t have happened without Kerrie’s creative vision and handiwork, and the amazingly talented team of suppliers and experts listed below – it really does read like a dream team of Manchester wedding talent!

Kerrie & Danny, thank you a million times for having me as your wedding photographer, I have loved every minute of working with you and getting to know you, and your wedding was amazing and an honour to be a part of. Thank you too to your wonderful family and friends for being so welcoming, especially Kerrie’s Mum, who looked absolutely stunning and made me feel so welcome – and the ‘naughty table’ for the fun at dinner time! Kerrie & Danny, wishing you all the best in your marriage and every happiness for your future together. Keep in touch! xxx
