– INFO –

I am a fine art wedding and portrait photographer based in South West France, where I live with my husband and two beautiful daughters. I live in the Charente region of France – a beautiful rural area full of sunflower fields and vineyards, pretty villages and stunning chateaux – and within easy reach of the Dordogne, Bordeaux, the Iles de Ré, Loire Valley, and Paris on the new super-fast TGV line. I am also happy to travel further afield for beautiful weddings, and have photographed weddings in Provence, the French Riviera, Monaco, Languedoc, Tuscany, Venice, Spain and Mallorca so far… oh, and the UK of course! While most of my work will now be in France, I do travel back from time to time so please do still get in touch if you are planning a gorgeous wedding in England!

MY STYLE

My photography style has been described as beautiful, ethereal, romantic, artistic and authentic… natural moments, beautifully curated.

I use both film and digital cameras, working mainly with natural light, which gives my work a beautiful, luminous quality. I love the soft tones and authenticity of film and use this for portraits, scene-setting and details. I combine this with the speed and convenience of digital for the faster-paced parts of the day, such as the ceremony and speeches. My style is particularly suited to relaxed outdoor weddings filled with gorgeous details and creative, romantic and relaxed couples who value beautiful photography.

MY APPROACH

My approach to wedding photography is friendly, informal and relaxed. I blend documentary coverage with beautifully crafted portraits, directing you into the most flattering poses and prettiest light while keeping the moments authentic and romantic.

I believe that having a genuine connection with the couples that I photograph results in beautiful, authentic images, so we always meet or skype to see if we are a good fit before booking. I then spend time getting to know you before the wedding, helping you feel at ease in front of the camera, so that by the wedding day it feels more like you are being photographed by a good friend.

On the wedding day I love to be fully immersed in the action; you will probably see me shed a tear during the ceremony and speeches, and may even find me on the dance floor at the end of the night!  I have found the more involved I can be, the more part of the wedding day I feel, the better the photos – and couples that feed me well definitely get extra blessings
